課程概述

屬於本課程討論範疇的傳統組織理論有韋伯與科層制度 (Weber and Bureaucracy), 科學管理學派(the Scientific Management School),人群關係學派(the Human Relations School),及結構權變學派(the Structural Contingency School)等。現代組織理論則包括資源依賴理論與網絡分析(Resource Dependence Theory and Network Analysis),組織經濟學(Economics of Organization),組織生態學(Organizational Ecology),及新制度理論(New Institutionalism)等。 

課程目標
本課程目的在讓學生對傳統與現代組織理論做回顧與批判,探討組織理論發展的新方向,藉此來瞭解組織與社會間之關係。 
課程要求
1.本課程的基本要求是課前閱讀當週指定教材,出席上課並參與討論。
2.修課同學必須分組做課堂口頭報告及撰寫書面報告。
3.必須撰寫期末研究報告
